Well an exciting few I’ve had, I would like everyone to meet the newest and youngest member to TEAM JONES. I’ve only had her since Friday and I’m already sure she’s going to become something amazing.
Crystal as she is known at home and known at shows as Grandara’s Kristal ( at the moment ) she is a 15.3 bay mare aged 8.
Today I decided I would test her as she is very inexperienced and took her to Crossmere to a local unaffiliated show, she coped brilliant with the surroundings and it didn’t fuss her once. She went and jumped two beautiful clears in the 85cm and finished 2nd. I tried her in the jump off to see what she was capable of and everything I asked her to do she gave me more. Then she went and jumped another clear in the 95cm first round and then had a pole in the jump off down to the rider getting over excited ( ops ) .
It was a very long day of standing around for her and she really put her effort into the jumping, I’m super excited for her.
Sadly I’m at college from next Friday for a week ( sad face) meaning no more shows until combine training at South view near the end of the month till then hope you all are well and are enjoying all this cold weather.
