Last weekend saw the end to Easter holidays which meant we had one last time to get out before I was back to school. We headed over to our local centre South view Equestrian centre  where we were determined to improve our results following from POYS.

Tioren jumped a very good clear round in the pony 1m open section to start the day off.  “he felt really strong so I was worried about the jump off on where I would lose time”  We were later on to go in the jump off which was a strong advantage. He flew around the jump off putting up the fastest time in the open sections however he was just clipped on one of the few riders to go to finish in 2nd. I’m over the moon with the round he gave me, it felt so smooth and I enjoyed every moment.

As the sun started to set shadows appears in the arena which I knew would be our disadvantage in the foxhunter 1.10 open, he jumped a brilliant round until the final few jumps where he lost concentration dew to shadows which finished us on a total of 4 faults. I couldn’t be more chuffed as we are always learning from our mistakes.

Thank you for reading.
