Living on a building site - what fun!

parked on building site

It was not much fun to be parked on a building site but the new house had to be finished.

at Betchton

Our skills as electricians, carpenters, cleaners and curtain makers were all put to good use.

We escaped to Foxhill  to watch the triple head MX GP and once again had to be towed out of the mud-

this time by a digger.

in Wales again

Back to Wales to do some gardening, bike maintenance and lots of dirt biking on the trails.

Then it was mid June and time for the Welsh 3day where we parked at the Lakeside in Llandrindod Wells-

in the mud again!

As the going on the course was wet and muddy Jim enjoyed the event on his CRM 250.Welsh 3day final test

But was not too happy at the final day motocross test!

Donnington hosted the British round of the MotoGP and we joined the crowds to watch Valentino Rossi take his first win on a 500cc-what a star!

Mick Doohan

Australian Mike Doohan is a multi World Champion and I joined the queue to get his autograph.

At last the work on the house was finished and we could make preparations to continue our journey.

-------now it is time to head south to Spain- October 2000-April 2001-----
