After the rally, we headed north to go and see some guys with a TR8 so we can assess what we have to do for the Historic safari rally<\/p>\n\n\n\n

we first visited Castle Egerton,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lord Egerton is the last in line from Tatton park, and he came out here to farm his 68000 acre plot, he wanted a wife, and fancied a girl from school, so he built a big house, she turned up in Kenya and said Urrghh WTF thas not big enough, so he enlarged it, she still didn’t like it and married his best mate instead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

he then banned women from the estate until he died in 1958, the house then was ransacked and then saved by the university he founded, they are now trying to renovate it, little by little.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

they have big money issues, but they appear to have a very leaky roof, but they decided to start with the wiring !!! I tried to explain the issues with this approach but #TIA ( this is Africa)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
