All the way down africa in every country the campsites were either completely empty or just a handful of true overlanders, in Zambia it started to get busy with South Africans and fly drive tourists, when planning the trip all I read was we must book campsites in Namibia, our first campsite in Namibia was just us, our second was 80% full then in Etosha which has a lot of campsites all where overbooked and the place was heaving, we got to the gate at Etosha on the east side and went to a luxury private lodge, conservation area and campsite and by pure luck they had a space for one night, yipee. it had private showers etc etc and a swimming pool, it also had a watering hole for wild animals right next to the restaurant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We sat and watched a family of nine Giraffes of all ages come and drink alongside oryx and springboks, worth the money, this campsite wasn’t so cheep at 25\u00a3 ,but worth it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The next day we went inside the park, Namibian national parks are not silly money, \u00a327 for a day, great value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s a big park with a salt pan and plenty of animals, we saw all, lions, cheetahs, leopards and all the boring stuff like elephants ,zebras etc etc<\/p>\n\n\n\n
