west from Etosha"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>we couldnt stay in the national park it was just so busy with white Toyotas with roof tents stuck on top,, hundred of them I, am not kidding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>we stopped just after the park on a game hunting farm and left early the next day for some off roading down the Hoanib trail .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>we stopped the night at the side of the riverbed, the wood was everywhere but was tinder dry and burnt like crazy, but at least it kept the wild animals away. in the sand, we could spot Desert Elephant, lion, and cheetah footprints, when the fire dies down, you have to be inside or prepare to get eaten. this is not a normal UK campsite problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>we had been warned about desert elephants they are very aggressive luckily and are not used to humans , they will attack, especially the bull elephants.we saw about ten in the day time dotted down the river bed and drove past without issue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.beady.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/Namibian-tracks-old-american-cars-abanded-4-scaled.jpeg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" fesh was bad.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>at the end of the rived bed  we headed south into the Palmwag Rhino reserve, this has a fee of 15\u00a3 and we can stay overnight, they have designated camping areas, which have zero facilities but help contain any human interaction with the wild, and they are well marked and in epic locations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image
