Johan runs a very professional fruit farm and the tour was great, I love the ‘how its made’ and ‘how do they do it’ programs and always looking for ideas from them, it always amazes me how we take simple stuff for granted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The farm employs something like 3-400 full-time people and another 3-400 as pickers. and each employed person has five dependants at home , so the farm helps 3-4000 people in the Ceres area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All the fruit goes to Europe or the USA, he even supplies ALDI UK and M&S<\/p>\n\n\n\n

all the staff stopped and looked at me, probably recognizing me as the famous bd, or maybe because they were all wrapped up in jackets and I was in a t-shirt and shorts.. the looks were more likely to be ‘look at that idiot’<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Milly liked the warm boilers<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

the farm uses all the cut wood to heat the ovens that dry the fruit.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

we left and said our goodbye, Johan did his best to get us to stay the night, but I wanted to see the puppy crusher.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

however I hadn’t noticed the time and the guy with the puppy crusher had departed for home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

we called Johan and he took us to his house he has on the farm<\/p>\n\n\n\n

we started chatting in the kitchen, and we knew Johan is building a new camper, Milly soon worked out and left me to bore him to death with details of how to design a camper, after a while , well many hours his head was steaming and I thought I should allow him to cool it under the tap. he woke us at 6 am walking around Dogger taking measurements and pictures, so maybe I didn’t bore him too much \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
