wow feels like forever since I’ve posted on here, College is seriously making every day wiz past.

About a week ago I stayed at college for a week as part of my course ( which wasn’t quite as fun as you would imagine ) .  On the Sunday we decided I would escape from real life hell and travel down the road to South View for an unaffiliated show with Crystal. Crystal got blown away to start with at the site of the indoor but slowly her green side blew off and she became cool headed again but down to her being a bit inexperienced she had a fence in the jump off. Yet after a bit of team talking and few alterations she jumped a brilliant double clear in the 90cm horse section to finish 2nd for her first show indoors.

After finishing college we took a run to register her BS which was a lot more confusing than we expected and caused quite a few little problems and worries. I was quite nervous to take her to Field house for the amateur qualifies and even more worried when I saw how technical they had built her first class (85cm amateur ) I questioned whether I should of listened and entered her in the class before it so she could have a bit of a ‘warm up’ but what was done was done now. I wasn’t expecting much from her just wanting to gain experience but she went around the course better than a lot of the experienced horses/ riders and jumped a double clear and finished in 6th. I was surprised on how well she took to the course as she didn’t question anything. I then decided to jump the 95cm amateur qualifier, sadly I made a error at the second fence which ment we finished on 4 faults after she jumped around the rest of the course clear.

I couldn’t of been more proud of her for her first BS show and still only our 3rd time out together, She’s such a quick learner and I’m excited to get to work with her over theses next few years.

Hopefully see a few people this weekend at South View or Field house, Crystals keeping us all on our feet.

Stay well guys and have a good weekend.
