Head south for the sun… Nope

It’s head north for the sun when in the southern hemisphere. So we headed south anyway to the most south part of the African continent. We have stood on the top and bottom of a few places and usually.. In fact always there is sweet FA to see or do except stair at open sea or on the car of nordcap stair in dense fog. This place was no different but we have been and stood there just to prove we went.

After that windy location we went along the coast a short way and we found just tucked inland a nice set of dunes to camp in. Bright white sand, huge empty beach, crashing waves, a great exhibition of whales playing in the surf and not one person on it other than us, it was just missing the heat of summer, well 4 out of 5 ain’t bad.
