Minor adjustment to Dogger #xx

We had a funny noise from the brakes when doing a lot of twisty downhill off roading, I knew it was the pump that pressurised the brake system then I noticed that every time I pressed the brakes the pump ran, and it should be 4-5 presses, my spider senses tingled. So I thought i would do preventitive preperations.
I got Mat to remove the spare from the warehouse (old blue 4.6 around the back at home) and I bought a new accumulator, this would go on Milly’s 4.6 if we didnt use it on Dogger. They could ship it to Dar el Salaam in Tanzania and we would collect our on our way past. One thing after another stopping the parcel being dispatched and then the weather turned a little rainy on the coast so I asked at the campsite if they knew a land rover parts shop. Turns out they had owned many Land Rovers and sent me to the place they use. I asked for some bushes for the rear damper, they had something that would do or for £30, a heavy duty correct p38 damper. I then thought I wonder if they have brake pump, he said yes brand new sealed in a box. After some haggling we settled on £800 I saved £100 shipping an oldvone half way across the world and can now fit a new pump which I had wanted to do when building dogger but the £3k price had put me off.
