Last Saturday we went to South View in Cheshire for the senior BS show which as always in England it was raining.

Not that rain where everything was flooded that kind of slow rain that got everything wet without coming down in bucket loads. The only thing I could think of was thank lord we were jumping indoors now.

Earlier in the week we found out Crystal had jumped aboard in the neverlands meaning she carried points over onto her card jumping her out of British Novice so we made the decision to jump her in the bigger classes.

i was hopping they were going to be building small on the day but luck wasn’t on my side and I felt like it was quite a technical course all day and built strong.

she went clear in the first round of the discovery and sadly had a pole down coming out of a double in the jump off.  I then decided to give the newcomers (1.10) a try and she went very well just 2 fences down at the very start of the course because she went a bit green and unsure of herself but soon picked herself up and jumped the rest of the round perfect.

A bit more practice is needed but it’s only the beginning and she has already proven herself very capable of the bigger tracks.

Of course I was wearing my favourite  Tottie White knee-grip breeches , personally my favourite breeches. Theses can be bought from Tottie online in the AW range.
