hello Zambia

Not saying we where dissapointed with Tanzania… Well the stupid corrupt police, the silly speed limits 25mph or 45mph everwhere and its a big country or pay speeding fines, well actually pay speeding fines even if you aren’t speeding 😒😒 and I have dashcam footage to prove it.
And the terrain that isn’t a national park is boring, and the national parks are a giant goverment money hoover to empty your wallet, top ones are £600 a day to visit and then the most things you will see are the Toyota tourist buses jamming up the tracks.
Well we drove 3 days from Dar el Salaam to Zambia. Zambia is much poorer than Tanzania but feels so much more welcoming.
We took 3 hours at the border in usual African chaos and drive west to a lovely campsite called floeer and fern On a 1800 hectacre farm run by a F1 fanatic called Jackie, what a great place. We did a visit to Kalambo falls and a Zambian museum about the areas involvement in tbe first world war, I didn’t even know it Hagbourne here but the germans tried to take Northern Rhodesia (now Zambia) from our empire.
